What we aim for
Pages use one main heading, a skip link, and a menu that is a real control. Form fields have labels. Links in prose are underlined. Focus is a visible ring. Body type stays at 18 pixels. The ground is white and the ink is dark.
The menu on a phone is a Menu row. Open it and the links push the headline down. On a wider screen the links stay in a row and the Menu row is hidden.
Pictures that are links say Click or Tap in the label, so a phone does not have to guess. Pictures that are not links do not pretend to be buttons.
