Using this site means you accept this page. What is and is not done is set out on the disclosures page, and those limits are part of these terms.

What the pages are

Everything here is general information for an owner who has a billing export and a QuickBooks file. It is not advice about your own numbers. Reading it does not make you a client. Rules land differently on different facts, so confirm anything that matters for your return before you act on it.

A free call is a conversation

Twenty minutes on the calendar creates no engagement and no ongoing duty. We will say what we see in the export and what an engagement would involve, including when the honest answer is that you do not need one yet. Work begins only when both sides sign a written engagement that names the scope and the fee.

Scope and fees

Every engagement is defined in writing before it starts. Fees are quoted for that scope. Work outside it is quoted before it is done. Either side may end an engagement in writing. Fees earned to that date remain due, and your records come back to you.

What the work needs from you

The work is only as good as the export and the bank it is tied to. You are responsible for complete records, for what sits in your own systems, and for the decisions you make. We will say when a line does not tie. We will not build a forward month on a month that has not closed.

The site itself

The words, layouts, and images belong to the practice that publishes them. You may read, print, and quote them with attribution. You may not republish the site or use it to train a product without written permission.

The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise it will never be wrong or never be down. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

The export you choose to send

Sending an export is voluntary. You can cover member names. You can send one week instead of a year. We use it to see whether items are shared and whether the deposit can be rebuilt. We do not treat the file as permission to change a closed month.

Where this is governed

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
